Philosophy
Every encounter starts with making a diagnosis, and in order to make that diagnosis, I remember what I learned from a great surgeon who was also my mother and a mentor; listen to the patient, ask questions, listen some more - the patient's story will lead you to the diagnosis.  Once a diagnosis is made, I believe in partnering with patients to develop their individual care plan.   I embrace traditional Western medicine and surgery as well as integrative practices in order to treat the whole person.
